Washington DC is a big blast of American history, politics and culture like no other place on earth.

It's a shot in the arm of all you ever wanted to know about the United States of America. and I don't mean the type of shot fired by a gun. But Americans like their guns too, as we all know. 

Home to the White House, Capitol Hill and a variety of monuments dedicated to founding fathers and other great thinkers and doers, it also has an incredible array of museums that exhalt great art and science - from the portrait gallery to the air and space museu, the spy museum to congress library, the largest library in the world.

This city is incredible. I'm in awe and appreciate all it has to offer.

Oh, and I might just get to see the US president.
